Located in the center of Southern Berkshire County, the Town of Great Barrington is minutes away from major arts, recreation, antiques, and ski attractions, Butternut Basin Ski Area is just 1 mile up the road, and a little farther is Beartown State Forest, where you can find fishing, and swimming in Benedict Pond, or hiking along one of the many marked trails, a refreshing break from your travels. You can also choose from many of the other larger or smaller lakes, and streams, such as Lake Buel, Lake Garfield, the Konkapot, and Green Rivers, or Great Barrington's Lake Mansfield, all within minutes of your motel room.

Sheffield is the next town to the South of Great Barrington, and it is the Antique Hub of the Berkshires, with antique shops for every taste and price. Stockbridge, and Lenox are directly to the North of us, where you will find Tanglewood, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Stockbridge Bowl, and of course The Norman Rockwell Museum. Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival is just twenty minutes away, and the many other things to do and see while you are here, are close by or accessible in about forty-five minutes at most.

Of course there's Great Barrington. Don't miss the atmosphere of 20 Railroad Street, one of our local pubs, or dine at Koii Chinese Restaurant right next door to the motel. Also, Barrington Beer Works for their own made brew, and tine food. Great Barrington has many fine stores, and shops in which to browse or simply buy the staples of everyday life.
